Living for Today; Pennywise Makes a Legendary Move at Surf City Blitz

Surf City Blitz

Huntington Beach, CA – Saturday, October 27

In the best move of the day, Pennywise invited Warren Fitzgerald and Dave Quackenbush of the Vandals on stage and handed over the mic for one of the best renditions of “Urban Struggle” that I have seen. A definite highlight of the event in this homage to the origins of the scene and tribute to an iconic band, “Urban Struggle” brought a heightened enthusiasm to an already memorable event. In true Pennywise form, their performance was stellar and riddled with the favorites including “Same Old Story”, “Fuck Authority”, and their signature stage filled closing song, “Bro Hymn”. Always a hard act to follow, Pennywise did not disappoint.

PENNYWISE BAND MEMBERS: Jim Lindberg (Lead Vocals), Fletcher Dragge (Guitar, Backing Vocals), Randy Bradbury (Bass, Backing Vocals), Byron McMackin (Drums, Backing Vocals)
